Reviews: From Paris: Mont Saint Michel Day Trip with a Guide

Punctuality, a clean and comfortable bus with USB charging ports, and clear instructions on the schedule from the tour leaders, who even provided some context before arrival. They gave us our entrance tickets and escorted us to the abbey entrance, showed us how to enter, and then gave us free time until the return trip. The time spent at the destination was short compared to the travel time, but it was truly worthwhile. It was a very sunny day, and both Mont Saint-Germain and the surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning.

The bus left on time, and was parked very close to the meeting point. We had plenty of time at the garden, which was beautiful. The bus parked in the car park, and we were instructed as to what time the bus would leave. However we were not given any instructions as to where to go, and we were wandering around for a while before we found the entrance. However I don't think the bus driver spoke much English, so that could have been the problem. Plenty of time too at the shopping centre and it was easy to find your way around and get back to the bus. The driver did extremely well coping in the busy traffic and we were very grateful for his skill! An enjoyable tour and day out

I highly recommend people take this instead of the self-guided audio tour. It makes a lot of difference. The guide shared a lot of stories with the site. It was a way more insightful tour that an audio device can't replace.

Superbly taken care of with friendly service. A true experience; culinary delight with the main sights seen from the Seine.

Less riding, more palace. Our tour guide, Slayton openly admitted that he didn’t know very much which isn’t very inspiring. It was a bit weird because half of the tour group were his family. Our whole group was american except for us and it was isolating especially when the guide only spoke and conversed with his fellow americans. We attempted conversation but he refused to ask us anything which is ironic because he said he did this job to hear about other people’s experiences.
