Itinerary Overview
- Step 1: Connect the 12 bamboo stakes together with a string.
- Steps 2 and 3: Shape the stakes into a sunrise (inverted triangle) or sunset (triangle) form.
- Step 4: Insert the bamboo stake into the hanger and secure it with string.
- Step 5: Select your preferred silk and color
- Step 6: Apply glue and let it dry
- Step 7: Set the silk and stretch it to cover the stakes.
- Step 8: Cover both sides completely with silk.
- Step 9: Cover the top and bottom of the hanger with ribbon.
- Step 10: Select tassels for the lantern base
- Step 11: Complete! Your lantern can also be folded and stored in your luggage to take home.
