Our guide Matt was extremely well informed on the history of the sites, and an interesting guy as well. Our weather was rainy with heavy fog which limited our viewing pleasure, but Matt kept us positive. There is a lot of uphill walking in this day. My health app noted I walked over 17,600 steps and climbed an equivalent of 57 floors, so be prepared for a real workout and dress for total comfort. The sites are amazing though. At least it wasn’t crowded!

We had an excellent 5-star experience with Gui! Aside from taking us to stunning locations, his insight and passion for all things Portuguese enhanced our understanding of this wonderful culture. The visit to Monserrate wasn’t originally part of the plan, but we’re so glad we had the opportunity to visit. What a hidden gem with a beautiful palace and serene gardens! Lunch at the local restaurant was also a pleasant surprise. There was a lot of food and the authentic dishes were packed with flavor. After a stop at the beach, we enjoyed an off road adventure by the coast. A perfect combination of visiting areas in Sintra to Cabo de Roca. Even though we couldn’t complete the portion to Cascais today because of road closures in the city, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. To make up, Gui took us instead to other nice areas close by. We definitely have a reason now to return in the future. Absolutely recommend this tour!!!

Marco accompanied us throughout the tour, explaining every detail with passion. He was incredibly attentive to our needs. He recommended a great restaurant in Sintra. The route wasn't tiring; I'm five months pregnant and I did it without any problems!
