We absolutely loved our cruise with Mitre Peak! The boat was clean and we were very pleased when we got on board and saw how well maintained the chairs and tables were. Who needs a lunch buffet when all you really want to do is look at the beautiful views outside. We were so lucky to have had a partially sunny day, the falls were still flowing and we sa bottle nose dolphins, 1 cute as penguin and 3 fur seals. The commentary from the captain was great and informative.
Top tip take something to eat as there is no food for sale but there is free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. We took instant cup noodles and used the hot water that was available.★

We went to Milford Sound today with a comfortable Mercedez Sprinter departing from Queenstown and had great fun!
First and foremost our compliments to the driver and guide Glenn! He told us that he's 'only' in NZ for 3 months now, but we didn't notice anything about that at all. He's an enthusiastic, kind, chill guide, a very capable driver and he tells a bunch of interesting stories along the way. He also encouraged connections between all the participants on the tour by asking short introductions of each person/duo so that small talk during the rest of the trip becomes a bit more easy, which we thought was nice! Even his terrible jokes (his own words, not mine) were funny and kept the mood light. Thanks again, Glenn
Apart from our guide, the tour itself was also very well arranged. Email contact in advance of our trip was very clear. Pick up and drop off went smoothly and the arranged lunch was also good. The stops along the way are a nice addition to the main activity of the tour and they were quite scenic as well. We liked the small tourgroup because you're more flexible by visiting spots you wouldn't be able to see with a large touring car, you dont't have to wait too long for everyone to return to the busses on the stops, and there is a better connection between driver and the participants.
We highly recommend this trip to Milford Sound with Glenn as tourguide!

The trip was well-organised, starting and finishing on time. Our bus driver/tour guide, Russel, demonstrated his superb expertise by blending great driving and comprehensive local knowledge, with subtle humour and wit. The Milford Sound cruise and buffet lunch continued along this vein, making the trip a wonderful experience. While the overall coach conditions were satisfactory, more seat cushioning would improve comfort levels, given the extended times of the return trip. Well Done.★
