Reviews: Bangkok Safari World one-day tour[Private Transfer/Optional Meals Included]

Transportation wasn't very convenient, so after thinking about it, we decided to hire a car, which might be more cost-effective. The wildlife park can only be explored by car, and there were quite a few animals. However, it was really hot, and many animals were resting in the shade, so they weren't very active. We also left too late. The downside of hiring a car for a day trip is the limited time—only 6 hours. Beyond that, it costs 200 baht per hour. During the walking tour, many shows are missed, making it not worthwhile. If your accommodation has convenient transportation, it's best to avoid group tours and buy individual tickets, which will give you more time.

We departed at 9:30 AM. The driver was already waiting at the hotel and provided excellent service. Upon arrival, he helped us exchange our tickets, took us to see the wildlife area, and then led us into the Ocean Park, explaining the general itinerary. After the tour, he dropped us off back at the hotel. It was a very good experience.

Driver contacted me one day before to confirm the pick up time, he even reached our hotel earlier & informed me his location as he leave home earlier to avoid jam. The experience on his ride is very good as he drive very carefully & steady, smooth journey for us as a premium trip for us. We were giving free cold drinking water as he knew we must felt hot after the visit of Safari World, very thoughtful driver. 5 stars rated for him!

The safari park is mainly about the shows; the other animals are similar to the Nanning Zoo, just better organized. It's quite far from the city center, so hiring a car is highly recommended! Chimelong might have better infrastructure (I haven't been). If you have ample time while in Bangkok, consider visiting. When it's crowded, a backpack is usually sufficient, especially with children. Backpacks are generally not checked, so you can bring water and snacks. I recommend buying the package that includes a buffet; there are water fountains inside, and the food is decent (group meals). Water inside the park costs 30 baht, while outside it's only 5 baht. There are cafes and bakeries. The shows are good—the dolphins are decent, the elephants are good, and the orangutans are hilarious. There's live elephant painting; a large painting sells for 1000 baht and sells out quickly. Elephant riding is only 300 baht, worthwhile, and you can take photos with the elephants for free—very cool. The travel agency did a great job; they created a WeChat group, making communication with the driver easy. Our local driver, Boss, was very talkative, though a bit slow to warm up. We chatted using Google Translate the whole way back, which was great; it gave us a different perspective on Thailand. The only downside was the traffic in the city. It took us about an hour and a half to get there in the morning and over two hours to get back in the evening. As for tickets, a package deal is 1500 baht on-site. Children under 100cm get free admission and a buffet. Including transportation, this package is incredibly good value! Highly recommended!

The tour was amazing. It’s an hour in the bus to go see the safari like area with the animals. 100 baht to ride on the bus if you don’t have a car. You pay it as you collect your ticket. The buffet was delicious but limited menu. I enjoyed the dolphin show a lot.
