Reviews: Vienna: Hallstatt, Salzburg, Melk, Alps & Lakes Day Trip

Our guided tour to Hallstatt and Salzburg with Alexander was absolutely outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. Alexander is extremely knowledgeable, with a deep understanding of the history, culture, and unique character of both destinations. He presents information in a clear, engaging, and enjoyable way, making the tour both informative and entertaining. The itinerary was perfectly organized, with an excellent pace that allowed us to fully enjoy each location without feeling rushed. In Hallstatt, Alexander helped us truly appreciate the beauty and heritage of the village, sharing fascinating insights and details that made the experience even more special. In Salzburg, his explanations brought the city to life, adding depth and meaning to everything we saw. We highly recommend Alexander to anyone visiting Hallstatt and Salzburg. It was a memorable experience from start to finish and one we will gladly recommend to others.
Reviews: Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace Day Trip from Munich

I would absolutely do this trip again, but only with Tour Guide Cansel and her father who is the driver for so many reasons. Cansel speaks English very well, is very approachable, tells history in a way that is interesting to listen to, and genuinely cares about each person’s experience on the tour. Her father, the driver, provided a very smooth ride out to the countryside, in snowy conditions, and back to the city at the end of the day. Often times on tours, even in my own country, I feel anxious because the drivers are not always thoughtful of their passengers. However, Cansel’s dad was timely, efficient, and even thoughtful. He even stopped to allow a cat to cross in front of the bus in one of the towns we drove through. We never felt rushed on any part of the experience. Cansel gave clear directions on timing of each stop, what to expect, and things to avoid. Unfortunately, I didn’t listen very well regarding the last castle stop and I went to the wrong castle. By the time I realized it was the wrong castle, I only had 25 minutes to get down the hill of the wrong castle and up the steep hill to the correct castle which is about a half-mile hike up. I made it but one-minute late. The guards are very strict and will not allow you entrance if you are late. But on my hike up the hill, I called a number that Cansel had given us earlier and was able to get a message relayed to her. She came to the entrance and was able to assist me with an actual entrance, which apparently is never allowed. I am so grateful to Cansel for her genuine care for each person’s experience and for helping me check off a bucket list item!

It was very well organised and Pedro gave very clear instructions so we would be on time for everything. The Linderhof castle is very beautiful but we didn’t have enough time to explore the grounds. The castle tour inside was great though. We chose to take the shuttle bus to the Marienbrucke for the Neuschwanstein castle views and it did not disappoint! The castle is every bit magical as we imagined!
