This is a solid one-day activity to experience the Kazakh outdoors. We went to 5 sites, including a ride on an old Soviet bus and a pony, with a delicious lunch at a local home. If you have more time, stretching it to a two-day trip with an overnight stay in a yurt would probably be better but if you only have a day to spare, do this. We had a pleasant guide, Naz, and driver and they managed a packed day without us feeling too rushed.

The driver is a Xinjiang native of Kazakh 10 years ago. The Chinese communication is quite good. The scenery is not bad. The road is far away. The whole journey takes more than 12 hours. It is more difficult!

An incredible tour through Kolsay, Kaindy, and Charyn — stunning and varied landscapes. Our guide, Adam, was the highlight: attentive, organized, and full of interesting information. He was always concerned about the group, making everything light and fun. The logistics worked very well, and the day was incredibly productive. I highly recommend it to anyone in Almaty!

We enjoyed the trip. The canyons for me is the best one! The tour guide - Nus - is a very good English speaker, so we can understand the story behind each destinations. They also provided us ample time to enjoy at each location. The food for lunch - we had plov - is very good, we enjoyed it very much. Since the tour is 17 hours, the van is very comfortable for me. I would highly recommend this tour to my friends.


