Check out the magic of the winter mountain with an evening snowshoeing adventure that'll take you to an enchanted world, far from the noise and stress of the city. Feel the thrill of walking on snowy trails, surrounded by the silence of fir and larch trees, immersed in a nature that seems suspended in time and space.
The experience kicks off in the heart of Thures, at the Thures Fountain, where you'll be greeted by our expert ski instructors and nature guides. You'll get all the gear you need: snowshoes, poles, and a headlamp to light up the trail as you go. Our instructors will guide you through the woods of the Valley, sharing stories about the area and the ancient paths that once connected the alpine villages. It's a one-of-a-kind experience where you dive into local history and culture, and rediscover the real charm of the mountains.
You'll set off at sunset, when the light turns golden and the landscape is tinged with unforgettable hues. The trail will take you through the woods to the charming path of the Val Thuras villages, which runs from Thures to Rhuilles through three quaint alpine hamlets. With each step, the sky will get darker and darker, and the first stars will start to appear, keeping you company on your walk and making the moment even more magical.
After a nice effort, you'll reach the cozy and welcoming Rifugio Combe d'Imbert Vittoria, which will charm you with its unique architecture and the warm welcome from Mauro and his team.
Here, you'll enjoy a delicious typical Piedmontese dinner, made with local ingredients and served in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
This stop is a great chance to relax and appreciate the experience, perfect for refreshing and warming up before heading back.
