I went with Peru hop for the Ballestas island,Paracas National reserve and slave tunnel tour. For anyone who will choose this, from my experience ,you will have two separate guides but you will be informed well of the details at the start of the tour. Smooth logistics I must say .Thanks to Franklin for an informative and organised start of this tour. I specifically chose this tour as am interested of Peruvian history and did not disappoint with Juan Carlos explaining all the gist. It was an interactive experience , not boring at all. Turned out I learned many things about Peru . Kudos to Juan Carlos for an excellent job on this tour ,very hardworking and I appreciate him taking great photos. A very long full-day journey but amazingly worth it. Muchas gracias Franklin ,Juan Carlos , our drivers for safe journeys and Peru Hop Team!

Chef Joseph and Cesar provided a super engaging experience that ended with honestly the most amazing ceviche and delicious pisco sours!! My friend and I had so much fun and we learned a lot. Cesar also gave us great tips about local places which we explored in Mira Flores and Barranco ( best pisco sours and coffee shops), and safety and helpful information for travelers going to machu pichu for example. Truly grateful for their great attitude and attention to details, cleanliness, and answering our questions! Highly highly recommend!!!

First of all I must thank Aissa for her patience in changing our initial booking. We were on a cruise ship and we weren't confident in making the first choice tour due to shuttles and traffic. She kindly rebooked us on another tour. I'm I glad we changed...hell yeah!!! Her correspondence was exceptional, with updates and other options. Muchas gracias Aissa🥰, Another huge shout out to our guide Stefano and chef Joseph. We cannot fault this company or tour. From the experience of the very local market to actually cooking and eating delicious Peruvian food, it was a highlight of our 57 day cruise. If you have the opportunity, do this culinary experience. Shelley is vegetarian and they catered for her as well. Peruvian vegetarian options are delicious, this from someone who eats everything! We "will" be cooking Peruvian food when we get back tho NZ. We had an amazing time learning about and tasting so many foods and drinks that are unique to Peru with our wonderful guide Miguel. The tour was in the centre of Lima, the old town, which is architecturally stunning. Miguel was very knowledgable about not only gastronomy but also the history of Lima; we learned so much from him and he was truly a delight. I highly recommend this tour for all the reasons noted above but also because we likely would not have eaten some of the unique and delicious food otherwise. Final comment - come hungry as you will be absolutely stuffed by the end of the tour.


