An amazing experience! The photo shoot in Chinese costumes exceeded all expectations. ★★★★★
This was one of the highlights of my trip! The opportunity to experience the history and culture of China was priceless. The photos received a flurry of compliments! For the price, it was the best gift to yourself.
Organization: Everything was perfect: about 3 hours total. 1 hour for makeup, 15 minutes to Beihai Park, half an hour of shooting. Afterward, you can walk around in your costume and take your own photos.
Team: They worked professionally. The stylists communicated through a translator. The photographer spoke English, directed gestures perfectly, and created a comfortable atmosphere. There was no language barrier.
Result and tips: The photos turned out exactly as I dreamed! Be sure to choose historical or traditional costumes—it's a unique opportunity. If it's winter, bring a warm undershirt and gloves. In the summer, no problem.
I highly recommend this magical experience for cultural immersion and unforgettable photos!

I'll remember this day for a long time! I'll list the positive aspects: the bus picked us up on time, the air conditioning was on and it was very warm, and our guide, Jessie, was very kind and helpful! She speaks very good English! She explains everything very interestingly and in detail! I highly recommend coming here; we really enjoyed it!

West Section
East Section (Nos. 1-6): Slightly less scenic than the West Section
No. 1 Watchtower, Dajiaolou, connects three sections of the Great Wall. A round trip takes about 1.5 hours at a normal pace.
No. 4 Zhengguantai, a hollow watchtower with a unique design.
Middle Section (Nos. 6-14): Gentle slope overall, few steps, average scenery, takes about 1.5 hours to visit.
West Section (Nos. 14-20): This section has more concentrated attractions and better scenery. It includes the "He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true hero" stele at No. 14, the filming location of "If You Are the One" at No. 15, a terrace in the middle for taking photos and enjoying panoramic views, and Nos. 19-20, the Hero's Slope. This section is steep and requires consideration of individual fitness levels before visiting. A round trip takes about 2.5 hours.
Recommended Route: Cable car up, slide down (200 meters). The kilometer-long slide is very exciting (not suitable for those over 60). Cable car up Nos. 14 → Nos. 20 → slide down No. 6. Suitable for energetic people who want to see the whole section, takes about 5 hours. The cable car on the east side goes up and down via a slide, costing 140 meters. The cable car on the west side also costs 140 meters up and down. If you have energy, you can go to the east side first and then the west side, costing 280 meters. If not, you can do only half.
On the hiking trails, routes 6, 8, 10-20 (or route 1) are listed. The south hiking trail is slightly easier than the north hiking trail (the north side is higher).

I'd like to share my experience. It's warm on the wall on January 8th. The temperature is just above freezing. Those accustomed to Far Eastern and Siberian winters with temperatures of -20-30 degrees Celsius will find it very comfortable. We haven't tried the green route. It's shorter (1.5 hours) and easier. We climbed the red route (2.5 hours) from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, taking 40 minutes each way. From 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, it's a stroll. From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, it's a dash up steep steps. The steps are of varying sizes. Watch your step. Wear light shoes. And don't dress too warmly. A wet back, and maybe even something else, will ruin the experience. It's better to dress lightly and sportily, and pack some extra gear in case the wind picks up.

Many thanks to our tour guide, Liu Qian, for her unwavering companionship and patient explanations throughout the trip. The experience was superb; her narration truly possessed a subtle, pervasive quality. She patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions, from the age of the buildings to their historical stories. Even more remarkable was her ability to break down complex history into something light and engaging, explaining the details of the artifacts in the simplest language possible. Along the way, we not only saw the scenery but also gained a deeper understanding of the stories behind it. Such professionalism and patience deserve full marks!
