All the descriptions in the tour correspond, the only thing is that when we were there, the prices for the illumination of the sights themselves increased and were higher. The excursion itself was good, the guide was very polite and always helped at our request.

We booked this separately from the island tour we were on and before we arrived in Sri Lanka. Communication was first class and we were collected from our hotel for a small charge. The ethos behind Back of Beyond, who run the night walks, is excellent, and they also educate school children from the area and train local guides. After a welcome drink at the lovely cafe, we received an excellent briefing before going on the walk, where we were delighted to spot 4 Slender Loris. While we were staying in the area we did another nocturnal Loris walk with a different provider and it wasn’t a patch on this one. Overall this was excellent value, top service and a very worthy cause, 100% recommended!

Such an amazing experience. Kumara and Thanuja were so welcoming. We loved everything that this family are doing and we take our hats off to all their hard work. Everything is home grown and organic. Kumara showed us their garden and taught us all about the different spices. The food was delicious and cooking it together was great fun! Thank you so much.


