We had the best tour ever. It started a little bumpy: the driver was 10 minutes late for pickup. However, the drive itself was very pleasant. Once we arrived at the park, we met Tawanda: he's incredibly nice, was great with our 5-year-old son, and knows the place like the back of his hand, having worked as a tour guide for 15 years (!). At first, we were a bit surprised by the small private car we were traveling in. But it turned out to be a huge advantage: we could take any road we wanted and even make a few detours. Tawanda really knows all the best spots for close-up animal viewing. One elephant was so close to our car we could have touched it. The tour was so good that we immediately booked him for another day trip in Cape Town. Tawanda is incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and a fantastic storyteller. If we ever return to South Africa, we'll definitely contact him again.

It was absolutely amazing! Steve is a very knowledgeable person and showed us all the important animals. And on top of that, he conjured up a really delicious lunch. I can highly recommend this tour!!

The tour was nice, we saw a lot. Unfortunately, our guide was a bit reluctant to talk and couldn't give us as much information as we had hoped.

Following recent rains, the river was not blue as shown on your photos; more a muddy brown. But that was a result of the weather. Otherwise, it was worth doing. My wife and I were the only passengers, so had a more personal experience.


