Departure by private shuttle from Matera to Altamura, meet with the licensed guide and start the guided tour.
You will visit the historic center and the beautiful Cathedral commissioned by Emperor Frederick II of Swabia in 1232 with the 1858 Gothic-style Public Clock Tower.
Stop at a typical bakery where you can taste the very famous Altamura bread, followed by a visit to the claustri, closed streets that open onto small courtyards with an architectural identity typical of the city.
At the end of the tour you can regenerate with lunch in a typical Apulian osteria where you will taste traditional dishes,
After lunch, transfer to Gravina and visit the historic center, which is particular and striking because it lies on the banks of a ravine, about 100 meters deep and with a very interesting karst aspect.
Here you will admire the Cathedral of the Assumption from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the bridge and the entire rocky habitat and immerse yourself in an evocative and breathtaking landscape.
