Taiyo was a fun guide and we introduced him to 'geocaching'. He kept the chatter to only when there was something worth dicussing or looking at - which was great for us. We went to temples outside Fukuoka and included the Tenmangu shrine and then back to the city canal areas★

It was a leisure and impressed local trip. Regardless all the hiccup (rainy day, our late flight to Fukuoka), Ai-san managed our 3 hour tour perfectly (it's a private tour, only for my wife and myself). Despite it was so late that most of the tourist spots were closed, we enjoyed a more relaxed city traffic to the Fukuoka Tower, a night sakura scene at the corner of the city, and a walk-by of the night market Yatai.
Real appreciation for Ai-san's effort to take care of this late-nite couple (it's a bit late for you driving home).
Thanks for your recommendations on the food places for that evening and the day after.★

With JRpass, sightseeing in Kitakyushu is very convenient. You can switch between free and reserved seats at will, and you can also change to Shinkansen. It is very cost-effective.
