Reviews: Edinburgh: Royal Attractions with Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tours
Guest User2026-03-06
brilliant how you could jump on and off the different buses included . would have preferred the 'guide' on the green bus to have skipped his 'jokes' , just wanted to concentrate on knowing about the history of the buildings and area but all in all with the tickets to the castle , brittania and Holyrood Palace, it was fab !

A great way to pass the time if you don't feel like exploring the city on foot. The tour includes plenty of sights, and even if you don't get off at the stops, it offers enough entertainment value to enjoy it from the bus.

I think this is such a fun thing to do. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the driver carefully explained everything when we boarded. The tour itself was fun and enjoyable and an easy way to learn about the rich and great history of Edinburgh. As someone who was born in Scotland and spent many a lot of time in Edinburgh I was surprised ant how much I didn’t know. It’s great for everyone
Reviews: The Chocolatarium Chocolate Tour Experience in Edinburgh

Brilliant experience with Kristie as our guide. She explained the process clearly and had all of us including our very excited 7year old son engaged all through . Great way to spend the afternoon. The chocolate was fab as well. Good value for money.
Reviews: Loch Ness, Scottish Highlands, Glencoe and Pitlochry Tour

The tour was operated by Hairycow and was at the end of January. The organization was excellent. After I purchased the tour, trip.com contacted me to reschedule it because the tour with a stop at the distillery wasn't available that day. I was offered a tour on the day I selected but with a lake cruise, or other days from the list that included the distillery. I chose the boat ride and was not disappointed. The bus was comfortable, with restroom and snack stops along the way. The views were stunning; I personally didn't have enough stops for nature photography. But the views are so beautiful that I wanted to stop every 100 meters. Late January was a good time for the boat ride; the boat has two decks, open on top and large windows on the bottom, and is well heated. There's also a bar with alcohol (I recommend the lower deck and look for the windows with the Nessie sticker for photos). And even though the program didn't say there would be hairy cows, the company named after them certainly showed them to us. Thank you!
