The overall itinerary was somewhat rushed due to Japanese driver service time regulations. The Takayama leg of the trip was particularly tight, mainly because completing a meal and a full visit to the Takayama Jinya (traditional Japanese houses) within two hours was quite strenuous. Two hours was more than enough for the Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri village. The tour guide was very professional and nice, and his explanations were quite interesting. The group members came from all over the world, with mainland Chinese tourists making up about 10%, making it a very international team.â

Kawagoe is absolutely gorgeous! The scenery is like a fairytale world; you'll fall in love with it at first sight.
I especially want to thank our female guide, Miyamoto, for making this experience so wonderful. She not only planned the itinerary perfectly, managing the time flawlessly, and providing clear and detailed explanations, but she was also incredibly considerate, making me feel completely at ease throughout the trip.
