Never having tried anything like this before, I was a bit apprehensive but I really needn't have worried. Ludger explained everything in detail before we got into the kayaks and really put me at my ease. It was great fun and the views of Heidelberg from the river were fabulous. Ludger stopped several times to point out places of interest and included lots of anecdotes relating to the history of the town (in German and English). It was all very enjoyable and I would definitely do it again, although next time I would wear gloves as the oars rubbed the skin between my thumb and forefinger a little, but maybe that's just me!

🌃 Chao Phraya River Night Cruise Review | Overall Rating ★4.5 While in Bangkok, I took a night cruise on the Chao Phraya River. It was a very satisfying experience, allowing me to enjoy the night view, food, and entertainment all in one place. ⸻ ✨ Good Points ◆ Amazing View ・The night view along the Chao Phraya River is simply beautiful ・Viewing famous spots from the river is an extraordinary experience ・Great photo opportunities, allowing for a relaxing time ◆ Plenty of Entertainment ・Dance shows and other entertainment were available on board, and they were more authentic than expected ・The journey never got boring, and the atmosphere was fun from start to finish ◆ Meals were buffet-style ・A wide variety of dishes, and overall I was satisfied ・Hot dishes were also available, perfectly matching the cruise atmosphere ⸻ ⚠️ Bad Points ◆ Be sure to arrive early for meals ・Popular menu items sell out quickly ・If you wait until after taking photos, you may miss out ◆ Drinks were a bit disappointing ・Beer was the only alcoholic option available in the all-you-can-drink plan ・Non-alcoholic juice was not available ・The drink counter was a little far away, making it difficult to get to. ⸻ 📝 Overall Rating Despite some minor inconveniences, I highly recommend this itinerary for those who prioritize "views, atmosphere, and entertainment." This yacht was the most expensive, and not crowded; the large tour groups all went to the yacht next to it. We chose window seats, which were almost entirely filled with foreigners. The food was decent; they gave each person half a lobster, and we were quite full. The views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge were nice, even though we didn't sail that far. We saw the Opera House from multiple angles. Boarding started at 7 pm, and the actual journey took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. After disembarking, some foreigners remained; I wonder if they continued eating—it seemed like there was a birthday party going on.
