Reviews: From Oxford: Cotswolds Towns and Villages Small Group Tour

It was a beautiful and very interesting tour, thanks to the added value provided by our guide, Vince. He shared a lot of interesting facts and history, and was very kind throughout. Since I barely speak the language, everything he said was very clear, and I had an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Both the guide and the driver were exceptionally friendly. All the important information was presented clearly and understandably, along with tips and suggestions for planning excursions, public restrooms, and pubs. The group size was also very pleasant. I would definitely join them again.

I thought Graham was the ideal driver (and I've experienced a few. Knowledgeable and chatty, but with those necessary periods of silence, and an enjoyable and apprpriate music selection. as with all day trips, some stops felt too short to truly enjoy the character of the small villages. I enjoyed meeting and spending time with an American lady and we had such an interesting and fun time on tge punting excursion.

Our Oxford alumni tour guide, Rory, did a fantastic job of pointing out so many Harry Potter points of interests and even had photos from the movies to help us remember the settings. He also shared interesting facts about student life at Oxford. Rory took us to outdoor and indoor HP filming locations, including the Divinity School used as the Hogwarts Infirmary and for professor McGonagall's dance lessons in the Goblet of Fire. We saw the cloisters and tree where Malfoy was turned into a ferret. We highly recommend taking this tour. Ask for Rory if you want to have a truly magical and memorable experience.

My cousin and I thought this would be fun way to see the city, and it really was! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about all things Harry Potter, and even had an interactive trivia game played along the way that my cousin actively participated in! I particularly enjoyed the mix of Potter info and general information about the city and some folklore thrown in! It wasn't too much walking, but we did see a lot. I highly recommend this tour, even if you're not a Potter aficionado, it's still a really fun way to see the city!

Our Guide, Andrew Parker, was most entertaining with his facts and anecdotes. It seemed a privilege to walk around the grounds of various colleges and get a feel for the college experience. It was helpful to identify the institutions of the University and City.
