Reviews: Krakow Memorial and Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau 1-day tour in English | Includes admission ticket + official professional guide

The driver and leader Thomas was very responsible. He emailed us two days in advance to wait in the hotel lobby at 7:00 in the morning and asked if we needed to prepare lunch boxes. The car arrived 5 minutes in advance on the day of departure. A van full of eight of our tourists arrived at the destination smoothly. Thomas handed us over to the English guide at Auschwitz and told us to go to the bathroom first, where there are fewer people, and then we followed the tour guide to the attraction. Set aside 15 minutes at noon, everyone returns to the car to eat, and then continue to visit the second camp. For people who like history, this is a visit with a deep experience. The return trip was also very smooth, and it was sent directly back to the hotel.

Our trip was really well organised. Got lots of communication beforehand with meeting place, etc, and also throughout the day of the trip. Just to be aware (we knew this when we booked so not a criticism) your pick up time is confirmed 24 hours before and can change from the time you booked. We were changed from 9.00am to 7.00am. Worth the visit! The day before our driver Tomasz arranged a pick up time and offered a packed lunch at a very reasonable price. It was definitely worth the £10/50 zlotys with the amount in them and also less hassle. Once the day arrived. Tomasz was very helpful and professional. He helped us with everything and communicated well on where to find him once the tour had ended. As for the Auschwitz - what a very interesting place, very sad but Worth every minute! Our guide was very knowledgeable and as very honest about it all. Definitely glad I visited and would definitely recommend it to anyone that is visiting Krakow.

Very very poignant and tough to see, but a must do in life so we never forget how terrible things can get and hopefully how far we’ve come.
