Reviews: Danube's three charming towns [Szentendre + Visegrad + Esztergom + summer cruise included]

The itinerary was well-planned, with convenient travel times between attractions and beautiful scenery along the way. The shuttle vehicles were spacious and comfortable, and the cruise ship had air conditioning. However, the departure time was an hour late, and lunch was only available at a designated restaurant (though the food and service were good). It would have been better if there were more options.

This was an incredible trip to three cities on the Danube Bend. We never felt rushed. The drive between each site was made interesting as the guide shared the history of the region and suggestions for visiting each area. It was a full day with lots of activities fitted in to make a perfect day exploring a whole other area of Hungary outside of Budapest. The forest and towns we passed by were lovely.

A very enjoyable day trip to Budapest. The tour guide was especially dedicated, switching seamlessly between English, German, and Hungarian, providing humorous, detailed, beautiful, and slow-paced commentary. Even though my English isn't great, I could understand him. He was very friendly to Chinese people; at lunchtime, when he learned our group of three was from Wuhan, China, he showed us photos on his phone—cities along the Belt and Road Initiative, and even his dog. The driver was also very nice, driving at a steady and smooth speed, climbing hills and turning slowly, so even I, who suffers from severe motion sickness, felt no discomfort. After stopping, the driver would stand by the door to help each passenger disembark. The scenery along the way was beautiful—fields, mountains, churches, rivers—and listening to the guide's narration was extremely relaxing. This trip was the best of all my tour experiences.
