Our experience with Patrizia was amazing. Our guide was absolutely incredible. We had some issues finding our way to her as it was our first time in Como and she was so helpful. She got us in touch with a cab driver and we were able to make it to our lesson. Her place is beautiful and so inviting. Learning family recipes was such a memorable experience for my birthday. We were taught to make Tiramisu (without alcohol, yay!) and two types of pasta. Patrizia was a gracious host and a very patient instructor as my husband and I learned but what made it absolutely incredible is getting to have a view of Lake Como while you enjoy some appetizers and her homemade foccacia on her balcony. Highly recommend. Just be sure to have access to a car. The class was the best part of our trip and I would say its going to be better than any fancy dinner you could go to.

The boat was perfect size, new and well furnished. The views and the whole experience is worth it. Highly recommend it if you want to explore lake Como for a short amount of time, without line up for a ferry that’s too touristy and overcrowded.

My girlfriend (still young) had sore feet on the way up and was very tired and looked grumpy. However, when we finished, she enjoyed the visit so much that she was smiling a lot, and that's not easy. So, imagine how beautiful it must be. Highly recommended, but keep in mind that the path is quite steep, so you need good shoes and to be careful.
