Reviews: Monteverde Full Day Birding Expedition with FREE BINOCULARS

After visiting Monteverde five times, I am convinced that George is the best guide you will find in the area.
I used George as a guide for a solo trip a couple of years ago, and most recently while traveling in Costa Rica with my 15-month old and my mother and her two friends. George was so helpful with my baby, carrying my backpack while I carried my babe in a carrier. He was patient with my elderly mother and her friends, allowing us to rest and take a break when needed. He made sure our tours were accessible to my mom and her friends, while still seeing some of the most beautiful birds and animals. George was our guide for hanging bridges, a night tour, birding and a walk to the Continental Divide. He is a very talented photographer, so he will get great photos of you and your family and all of the beautiful things you see.
George is well-loved and respected in the community, which means when you come across other guides on your treks, they will tell him the location of where they have recently seen the hard to find animals, like the quetzal! Every time I visit Monteverde, I see new beautiful birds and animals because George is on top of his game. 🦜🌱🐍🌳🌙🦋★

The first part, the zip lines, was great, the guides were very good... we did 6 or 7 zip lines... a tram ride up without any stops during the ascent... then the visit to the suspension bridges on our own without a guide, but very good... a good activity, but very expensive for what it is...★

This was our second time booking through Palo Verde Boat tours. I can not say enough good things about this tour and the family who runs it. They feel like family at this point. We were back in Costa Rica this time around to get married and they made us feel so special by having a little set up for when we returned from the boat tour. The drive to the location was beautiful and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the roads were!
We brought my in laws and my sister for the early birding tour and we saw so much including monkeys, crocs, jabirus, a scarlet macaw and so much more!
When we returned from the tour we had some dragonfruit ice cream and juice which was as always delicious!
I plan to come back to do this tour everytime I am in CR. Highly highly recommend!★

We booked originally for a different trip but they called and recommended solstice at Ostional it would take longer but they were right it was worth it olive ridley turtles everywhere just like most wildlife they like to be away from people so the drive was long and road had been washed out in places but beach time was amazing.★
