This day trip to Tianmen Mountain was a great experience. It was rare to go in the morning when the sun was shining, but unfortunately some facilities were under maintenance and we couldn't experience them. However, it gave us the opportunity to come back again. The scenery on the mountain was beautiful, and the cable car and glass walkway were very interesting. Our guide, Tian Yi, was very professional, and there were no extra charges throughout the trip, making it a very worthwhile experience overall.

Today I participated in a guided tour of Prince Gong's Mansion by "Teacher Zeng, the Top Scholar of Beijing". I can only say that the time was too short. His insightful explanations would have made it worth a whole day. However, Teacher Zeng took us to all the places we should visit and saw, and explained everything in detail. I benefited a lot from the tour.

A group of 4 of us enjoyed a tour with Lily who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! We have 2 elderly people in our group and she was very accomodating of their speed and she spoke loudly to make sure they could understand. She also took lots of nice pictures of us at the attraction even though it was very busy for the holiday. Thank you Lily!

Extremely experienced and also knowledgeable tour guide led the tour. He was able to rattle off poems amidst his explanation of the relics in Yuanmingyuan. Honestly if there’s no guide, you’d find it very very difficult to appreciate the place, as it is essentially a ruin. Not much has been restored and according to the guide, there’s no intention to restore the site.


