Reviews: From Cardiff: Guided Tour of Welsh Valleys

Excellent tour, and the guide is exceptional with great knowledge of local history and culture. He took us to the tour sites quickly and safely, and since we were in a hurry, he even took us to another place that wasn't on the initial itinerary. He also gave us a souvenir of Welsh sweets. I highly recommend choosing this tour and this company. 5 stars for the guide.

We loved our tour! It wasn’t the best weather but Bill was the best tour guide and we had a great time. Would really recommend this to any dr who fan visiting Cardiff. You wouldn’t see all the spots on the tour on your own and you see so many things you don’t even realise were in doctor who. We had so much fun and would do it again!
Reviews: Cardiff: Golden Gower Coast, Swansea & Mumbles Day Tour

Lisa as our driver and Chris as our guide were a lovely duo and in good spirits throughout the drive. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the weather (Storm Amy), so we did the tour in reverse. Despite the bad weather, Worms Head and Rhosilli Beach are truly beautiful. The hike between the beaches was definitely a trek in the wind and water, but still a rewarding experience. The shops at Mumbles were rather unremarkable, but the beach walk has its charm if you had more time. We also made a 15-minute stop at the Thomas Dylan Centre in Swansea. It wasn't really my cup of tea, but tastes vary. All in all, a great tour.
Reviews: The Wandering Bard's Valley Tour or the Swansea Bay Tour.

Gareth is very attentive, helpful and is truly committed to making his tours a great experience. He’s passionate about Welsh history and culture and wants to impart that to his tour guests. You will learn a lot which helps to enhance your experience in Wales. I took the Welsh Valleys tour as a solo traveler, and Gareth went out of his way to accommodate me and make the tour a comfortable and easy experience. I was absolutely blown away by the beauty of the Wye Valley, and Gareth took us to all the gorgeous sites in the area—Monnow Bridge, Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, Castell Coch and Caerphilly Castle. All stunning Welsh sites, and Gareth gives history and background about them all. There is time to stop for snacks, lunch and bathroom breaks, and Gareth gives recommendations in each area. There is a lot of walking on this tour, so be mindful that there may be mud or rain along the way, but it’s so worth it to see these incredible sites. Gareth makes it enjoyable and easy, and for the price (which is unbelievably reasonable), it’s worth every cent. Take a tour with The Wandering Bard tours, especially as a solo traveler (you will be looked after). You will not regret it!
