This combined Oxford, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle Tour was really educational and fun. Our tour guide Godfrey did a great job explaining the key historical points for each location we went to. The coach ride was also comfortable, and it had a spacious and clean bathroom. If you have limited time in London but would still like to see Oxford, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle in a day, I’d highly recommend this tour to you.

Found the Golden Tour while looking for London - Salisbury - Stonehenge rail/bus tickets. The Golden Tour was a much better option. Pickup and return were convenient to the Underground at Victoria Station, within short walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Early afternoon return gave us a chance to see the Palace entrance then tube down to Tower Bridge before sunset. We thought the two hour stop at Stonehenge would be too long, but it turned out to be perfect. Kee, the driver/guide, was excellent! Gave a great running commentary through London, and on the way to "The Stone." Highly recommended.

I booked the tour the day before, and I'm glad I was able to join. We were given a light snack at the beginning and then headed to Stonehenge. We started from a parking lot near the Stonehenge Visitor Center, so it took about 30 minutes to walk to the actual site. There was a shuttle bus available, but since we had some time before the meeting point, we walked and enjoyed the scenery. It seemed like it would be difficult to get there by public transport, so I was very glad we could use the bus. Unfortunately, the guide seemed discriminatory or perhaps just shy, as when I asked for a ticket he asked if I wanted one, and then ignored me on the way back.


