My husband and I really enjoyed the bike tour with Flavio. We are in our late 30s from New York/Miami, in great physical shape and have done many bike tours in cities all over the world. Note that this tour definitely requires a strong comfort level biking as you are going for long stretches uphill, downhill and on some rougher terrain. The mountain e-bike was absolutely necessary and made it very easy to do but I think this tour is still for those who are confident biking. It was wonderful to see some of the viewpoints and sites just outside of Frascati town and to get a workout in with all the pasta we’re eating! Flavio is from the area and was a friendly knowledgeable guide who studied history. He also shared many personal recommendations with us not just for local spots but also for future vacations to Italy. We’ve been to Rome countless times and are glad we finally came out to the Castelli Romani towns and recommend others do the same!

Overall it is definitely not cheap, but you can travel on trains around Europe as many times as you want during the period, flexible and convenient, especially for last minute travelers. Keep in mind in countries like Spain, Italy and France, the reservation fee is expensive and can add up quickly, so you need to plan ahead. Also, in most countries, the app cannot be used in the tickets gates automatically, and must seek help from staff. Hope they can improve it.
