Reviews: Wanaka Water Taxi Mou Waho Island Tour

The tour guide was friendly and super knowledgeable. He described the geology and history of the area, and was easy to talk to. The ride to the island was easy and really scenic, despite the weather (it was really windy and rainy in patches). The walk uphill on Mou Waho as at least 30 to 40 minutes and is a solid uphill climb, and you get to listen to beautiful birdsong the whole way. The scenery at top is incredible. If the weather is windy, dress warmly! And dress and layers because you will get warm, climbing uphill.★

The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and professional, explaining each step and maneuver in detail. They gave me a great deal of freedom in controlling the aircraft. For someone who had never flown before, I essentially learned all the necessary operational knowledge for flying. For beginners considering taking the light aircraft pilot's test, it's a great opportunity to see if flying is right for them. The view of WANAKA LAKE from the sky is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't tried flying before give it a try.★

The boat trip to the island and the scenic view on the island were gorgeous. And we were so lucky to get very close to the cute kewa. It's a great tour with our guide Reon, very friendly and knowledgable.
