Carlos is a well knowledgeable, passionate guide with a good palet for the local cuisine. Would definitely recommend.

Carlos, our tour guide, was awesome! He was incredibly personable and made us feel safe and totally immersed from the moment we met. We didn't just see Avenida Revolución; we explored the incredible street art in Pasaje Rodríguez, ate the most authentic and mind-blowing street tacos (the birria was unforgettable!) If you want a tour that feels less like a tourist trap and more like an afternoon with a local friend, book with Border Tours immediately. Highly, highly recommend!

Good value and easy to use. We saved 94-121 per person. This was a good option since we were in San Diego for a week and allowed flexibility in plans due to rain. Since the pass includes 1 safari or 1 zoo, we did both, and paid the 2nd out of pocket. The kids were free at the art museum, and used their last pass slot for Belmont rides. We had vehicles, and used the trolley for 1-day (though it was a 2-day), the 1-day would have cost ~60 and we still saved substantially. The trolley is good for touring and going where it is crowded and hard to park like Coronado.

The Star of India was very cool and the staff was very nice explaining its history and gave us some fun facts of the ship. Next we checked out the other ships and submarine. It is a self guided tour and we had a great time exploring. We checked out the living quarters and some of them included exhibits. There were staff ready to help and answer questions. This is worth a visit.
