Reviews: Vesuvius National Park Skip-The-Line Ticket and Audio Guide
Guest User2025-10-21
This just made going up Vesuvius super simple. We arrived at the meet point which was nice and easy to find, got on a bus and went up Vesuvius to the bus turning place. Climbed on our own up and down to the crater which I found totally enthralling and then headed back down to the bus which was where it said it would be at the time it said it would be there. V straightforward!
Reviews: Pompeii Archaeological Park + Mount Vesuvius 1-day tour [Air-conditioned bus/Special lunch]
Guest User2025-08-15
Pompeii was magnificent, but the weather was scorching. However, since the volcano tour was canceled, the trip wasn't too tiring. There were plenty of shopping opportunities along the way, giving us plenty of time to rest. We finally arrived back late. The tour leader said we could get a refund, but I'm not sure if trip.com will give us one.
Reviews: From Ercolano: Vesuvio Park Entry Ticket and Roundtrip Bus
Guest User2025-12-26
Kudos to the bus driver, as the road is truly challenging. The Ercolano visitor center is clearly visible. The staff could take a little more time to explain the next steps, especially when there are few visitors. Furthermore, at the park entrance, our voucher wasn't accepted, and the driver had to intervene to let us in.
Reviews: Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip from Naples with Italian Light Lunch
Guest User2025-12-29
Amazing, fascinating tour. Connie (our main tour guide) and Teresa (the archeological guide in Pompei) were very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer all our questions, and together with Bruno (a very skilful bus driver) made for a great day. The lunch was delicious in a restaurant with a view. Mount Vesuvius climb was well worth it with breathtaking views! Would definitively recommend.

Navigating Pompeii and Vesuvius are not straight-forward. Our driver Lucia was very professional, prompt and made sure all our transfers (including Vesuvius which is a very disorganized site!) when smoothly. She took care of ensuring our tickets were in hand, gave perfect instructions to navigate each site and was waiting in the perfect places as we came out. Our guide for Pompeii was Anna and she was fantastic - got us through the lines and navigated well in front of or behind all the large tour groups with precision! She knew all of their moves and because there were not tons of tourists there, I got so many pictures with either no one or few people in the shots! Anna was also incredibly knowledgeable about the site and gave us great insights on the history and art that decorates the site - she came prepared too with a bag full of books with illustrations and drawings that helped hus understand what we were looking at. It was a very thoughtful (she even helped us find water to purchase before and after the tour!) and full agenda. No way we would have had the same experience in a large tour. Pay the extra money for the private experience - it is well worth it!
