The trail of Naufragados is 4 kilometers long with a beach of over 1 kilometer. This desired area is a backpackers hiking paradise. Historically it was a strategic military point with massive cannons that are still available to see with your own eyes accepting this tour package.
Today the south point is a lighthouse so ships can have better knowledge of reaching dangerous areas.
Naufragados meaning is shipwrecked.
The drive to the south is spectacular going through the second oldest frontier historical town that is rated number 1 for seafood restaurants.
After meeting us in the main parking area for walking to Naufragados beach, we will travel through an immense jungle with animals, a waterfall, but a very wide safe trail.
We will hike around the lighthouse, and through the old barriers of the military cannons, and coming to the edge of the most furtherest point the island has to offer.
We will include a small lunch and one drink
The trail will take around 1 hour to the beach and an additional 1 hour to the cannons. including a one hour lunch. The total time will be around 6 hours for the total trip.

What's included
A tour guide will be with you at the meeting point and travel through the walking area to Naufragados Beach. Traveling to the lighthouse and military outpost. Coming back to have a small lunch or more considered a snack and two drinks included.
If you would like to share car or know the bus route. Please stay in touch with us. But it is not included, we just realize this tour is a little away from the central part of the island.
We walk back finishing the tour in an average of 6 hours.
Sunscreen, walking water, bug spray, towels, bathing suits, shoes. Please dress comfortably as this is an all day trip. Please prepare. We will include two drinks for lunch but please bring extra water to carry during the hike. In total you will hike around 11 kilometers.

If a cancellation request is submitted after 09:00 1 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 100% will be charged.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
