Itinerary
Join us on a walking tour of Old San Juan focused on the history of this 500 year old city. We will meet at Plaza Colón, where we will start our tour. Along the way we will stop in front of San Cristóbal Castle (one of the biggest castles in the New World), La Perla (one of the most iconic communities in Old San Juan), and San Felipe del Morro Castle (the most famous castle in Puerto Rico). We will also stop by the Ballajá Barracks (the largest military barracks built by the Spanish in the New World), Casa Blanca (home of the Ponce de León family), San José Church (the second oldest church in the New World), the 500 year old Cathedral of San Juan Bautista, the Door of San Juan (the original entrance to the walled city), La Fortaleza (the governor's mansion) and the legendary Capilla del Cristo. We will end our tour at the Bastión de Las Palmas, where you will find a stunning view of the San Juan Bay and the main island of Puerto Rico.
