Fantastic! It's not every day you get a guide at your disposal (group of 3). And what a guide! Claudio Montemurro took us on a journey through time and space, exploring the lives of the people of Matera. He doesn't just tell stories, he shows you through the eyes of someone who loves his work, his land, and his roots. Thank you! Then crossing the Tibetan bridge at sunset was the best! Bravo!★

Great, informative tour. We did it in Italian as the English version would’ve been 2x more expensive. My husband doesn’t speak Italian so didn’t understand a word LOL but I translated for him here and there.
The guide also recommended a restaurant to us (La grotta del gusto) that I was a bit skeptical about as normally guides are affiliated with these kinds of meh places, but eventually we ate there as they serve traditional dishes and it was amazing too.
