The MUCBO (Sóller Botanical Garden Foundation-Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences) is a pioneering institution in the Balearic Islands in research, conservation, dissemination, and environmental education on our islands, with over 30 years of history. It has two main sections: the Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences, with permanent exhibitions on geology, paleontology, and current biodiversity, and the Sóller Botanical Garden, which features a living plant exhibition, herbarium, and germplasm bank. The institution also organizes workshops, conferences, and school visits on various topics related to the natural sciences in the Balearic Islands. All this experience makes MUCBO a leading entity in the Balearic Islands in terms of conservation, dissemination, and study of the nature that surrounds us.
