The day trip was interesting, varied, and full of surprises. Our guide, Keith, told us a lot about the Butchulla, the island's original inhabitants. He knew a great deal about the history, the forest, the trees and their uses (logging), and the animals. The driving and breaks (wading in the river, eating, visiting a shipwreck, swimming in the lake, and a walk in the forest) were well-planned. The ancient rainforest was impressive. It was an unforgettable experience.★

Guide was knowledgeable about the area and the animals. we saw owls eagles, egrets, cormorents and many other birds. stingrays were plentiful. great morning on the water .★
