There was nothing wrong with the itinerary, lunch and tour guide, but the attractions in Hue were really lacking. The Imperial City was not even a poor man's version of the Forbidden City. Maybe Vietnam is just a country of this size.★

We were the only three people on the entire boat. While we loved every minute of it (especially the host and the food), perhaps letting us know we would be the only patrons would have been a good idea. It was a little strange to be all alone on the boat.
