Visit ARTIS Zoo, where something special happened this winter: two elephant calves were born. Join Expedition Elephant, follow the trail, discover interesting facts about elephants, and crack the elephant code. Or craft your own flag during the May holidays to mark the birds' nests and thus protect the meadow birds.

Imagine yourself in Madagascar at the renovated Kerbertterras (former lion enclosure) and admire how the ring-tailed lemurs, ruffed ruffs, and Madagascar radiated tortoises live together here. Listen to the various stories about the people and animals who stayed at ARTIS during the Second World War and view the buildings and animal enclosures with fresh eyes.

Visit the Planetarium for a journey through space (included with admission). Discover stars, planets, and marvel at our place in the universe.

ARTIS-Micropia
ARTIS-Micropia is the first and only museum in the world dedicated entirely to microbes. They are everywhere, in the air, on your skin and in your gut. They make food taste good, keep you healthy and maintain balance in nature. Microbes are essential.

At Micropia this invisible world comes to life through living microbes, microscopes, interactive displays and stories from the lab technicians.
