Reviews: Tromsø: Arctic Fjord Cruise & Fishing Experience

It's a pity we didn't get to see the aurora borealis; it even drizzled that night. Our guide was a Turkish guy, and his service was pretty good, but it was still a shame. We drove to Little Beach, an aurora viewing spot, more than an hour from the city, but still didn't see the aurora. We built a campfire and provided snacks and drinks 🥤. Since it's a natural phenomenon, there's no guarantee we'd see it, so we couldn't get a refund.

The guide was so radiant; her energy and good humor were admirable. She made our day wonderful, and the visits were accompanied by detailed explanations at each stop. I highly recommend her!

It was like spending a day with family. Really enjoyed talking with the captain and crew. No fish were caught but it was an outstanding experience

An activity that appeals to adults and especially children. The staff is attentive. Although it's a tourist activity, we had a great time and the dogs seemed happy and healthy.

Roger and Thomas was very friendly and engaging. We managed to catch 1 fish each during our adventure. There was no lunch onboard, but they gave us the fish to bring back to cook by ourself. Definitely a fun and rewarding experience!

Great chance to see the fjords without hiring a car and for people that don't want to invest in all the 'snow gear'' if you're visting for a long weekend. We had stops at a couple of viewpoints and Socrates found us a beach to ourselves to explore and enjoy the views. (Hot drinks and biscuits were necessary). Polar night/winter meant we saw some birdlife but many animals. However Socrates provided lots of information about the areas we were visiting and life around Tromso. Not the tour: we got very cold feet even in the 30mins on the beach, so do not underestimate any large negative temperature forecasts!
