We had a good day with Carlo. The group of people we were with was great. I think we just expected something different. We had watched a YouTube video about this tour( or at least we thought it was) but this tour was completely different. The picture they had for this tour matched what we saw on YouTube. I just noticed that they have changed the picture. I guess I am not the only one who got mislead:) So anyway as I said we enjoyed the day but felt like the winery visit was a sales pitch more or less, and the food at the Osteria was not good at all. (except for the desserts!). The views of the hills and area were great! Carlo was a great host too. Overall it was a decent day.

Highlight of our Venice stay. We visited in late October and enjoyed a crisp fall day. The train ride was simple and smooth and Giulia met us right outside the terminal doors. She was easy to talk with and gave us all sorts of information and background on the area and prosecco. The wineries were incredibly interesting and the tours shared history, farming practices to produce their amazing wine, and excellent tastings. Both wineries we visited were so different and beautiful. It made us appreciate the dedication and passion these growers have for producing their product. Lunch was an outstanding 4 course delight! We were treated to a fabulous day from start to finish… and look forward to receiving our prosecco shipment when we return home! This is more than just a tasting tour.

What a hidden gem! I discovered MandolinVenice by chance and it turned out to be one of the most special evenings of my trip. The small church was softly lit, the atmosphere warm and intimate, and the musicians played with such passion and grace. Their mandolins brought back the sound of old Venice — poetic, elegant, and full of soul. A truly authentic experience, far from the tourist crowds.


