Ponta Delgada: Apiary Guided Tour

Morning in nature: We start with a visit to the spectacular Lagoa do Fogo, one of the most iconic places in the Azores.

Beekeeping experience (2 hours): Enter the world of bees and learn about their busy daily lives. After a brief introduction to the biology of bees and safety measures, participants will explore the hives, identify the varieties, understand the organization of the hive and maybe even meet the queen! Finally, enjoy an open-air honey tasting.

Lunch in the Lagoa area: Savor a typical meal while enjoying the calm and beautiful surroundings.

Afternoon of culture and tradition: Visit the historic Vieira Pottery, known for its unique handicrafts, and end the day with a visit to the emblematic Azorean Pineapple Plantation, where you will learn all about this exotic fruit.
