Reviews: Everest Mountain Flight (Scenic Plane tour) from Kathmandu- Daily Departures
Guest User2026-01-04
The road to the private lodging near Patan was narrow, but the pickup was smooth. The scheduled departure time was around 7:15 due to weather conditions. As it was January, the airport waiting lobby and bus were cold. I recommend dressing warmly for this season. Immediately after takeoff, the 8,000m-class mountain ranges came into view, which was a spectacular sight. We turned back after seeing Mount Everest. Since you're closer to the mountains on the return trip, you'll probably get a closer view if you sit by the window on the right.

No one came to pick me up in the morning so I had to take a taxi to and from the airport. Flight was incredible though.

I can highly recommend the cooking class. The three women were teaching us how to make typical Nepalese dishes and we had a such a good time. They also introduced us to different spices and little tips, to make the dishes even better.
Reviews: 3 night 4 Day Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat to Detox the Body & Mind, Nepal

My stay at the Nepal Ayurveda Home was truly an unforgettable experience. I participated in a five-day Ayurveda course, receiving morning and evening yoga and meditation sessions, as well as Ayurvedic treatments. My time there was a balanced and peaceful experience, balancing learning and healing. The meals were made with fresh ingredients and lovingly prepared by the kitchen staff. The shared meals, especially those gathered around the table, were incredibly relaxing; it felt like eating with extended family. The Ayurvedic treatment was also a profound experience. Using a combination of herbs, medicinal plants, and roots, I was treated to a treatment tailored to my dosha (constitution), which gave me a deeper understanding of my body. This trip has instilled in me a desire to love and cherish myself more. But what impressed me most was the warmth of the people. The teachers and staff were all so kind, always welcoming me with a smile, and each and every one of them provided heartfelt support, which made my stay incredibly comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves and improve their mind and body. 🌿✨ A truly life-changing experience at Nepal Ayurveda Home. My stay at Nepal Ayurveda Home was far beyond what I expected — it was one of those experiences that stay in your heart for a lifetime. I signed up for a 5-day Ayurveda course, which included morning and evening yoga and meditation sessions with daily Ayurvedic treatments. Each day felt thoughtfully balanced between learning, self-reflection, and nourishment. The meals were fresh, wholesome, and lovingly prepared by the kitchen team. I especially loved how everyone would gather around the dining table to share meals together — it created such a sense of community and warmth. The Ayurveda treatments were a journey in themselves. From herbs to medicinal roots, each therapy was carefully personalized to my dosha, giving me profound insights into my own body and mind. I left with a renewed sense of love and appreciation for my own well-being. What made this place so special, though, were the people. Every teacher and staff member was Incredibly warm, welcoming, and truly caring. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home — and that’s exactly how I felt throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with yourself, learn deeply about Ayurveda, and be surrounded by kind-hearted souls — this is the place. 🌿✨
