I underestimated the beauty of Lugu Lake. It exudes a sense of tranquility and is definitely worth visiting. I've seen many beautiful sights, but Lugu Lake is unexpectedly stunning! The tour I booked was very cost-effective and convenient. The driver was clearly very experienced and had excellent driving skills 👍 The entire trip was very smooth. I was worried about motion sickness, so I took a motion sickness pill before setting off in the morning. I started to sleep as soon as I got on the bus. Suddenly, the driver said we'd arrive in half an hour. In a daze, I glanced out the window—oh my god, it was like a fairyland! Because it had just rained and there was still fog, at that moment, I already felt it was worth the ticket price. I was extremely satisfied with this trip!

We had a lovely time with Fancy, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and keen to share her food and culture with us. We loved seeing her kitchen and adjacent bakery that her and her husband had set up. The pan suisse wad delicious! The cooking class itself was fun, easy to follow and delicious. This was a highlight of our Lijiang trip and would definitely recommend to others.

My son and I had a lovely morning on this tour! Linda’s rooftop cafe is an oasis of flowers with views out to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We learned about Yunnan coffee and tried a tasty and pure pour over cup of coffee followed by lattes showing the name of the cafe. Visiting the local market with such knowledgeable guides was a highlight. We learnt about many different foods - everything was so fresh! We then went to Linda and Afu’s home and made dumplings with a pork and morel mushroom mix. We also helped prepare a fresh chicken salad and potato pancake. Together with the dumplings - it was a feast!! A highlight was Afu showing us how to make yak butter tea. Linda was unwell so we had Christine as a guide. She was warm and spoke excellent English. She taught us about life as a local and about the local region. This tour was a highlight of our stay in Yunnan and is highly recommended.

This was a very well organised trip! Mr Da Yang our driver took such good care of us. Even though he couldn’t speak English, he communicated with us using the WeChat in app translation feature which was very effective - communication on meet up times and locations were very clear. If you’re looking for a relaxed trip where you don’t feel rushed and don’t feel the need for a heavily guided tour, this will be perfect for you. Lunch was really good too - home style Chinese food, very tasty. Using WeChat is a must of course for a seamless experience with the driver and company. Overall, it was wonderful and unforgettable. Thank you so much!

Abu was still leading the tour. In one day, we visited Manting Park, the General Buddhist Temple, the Great Buddha Temple, and the Primitive Forest Park. During the tour, Abu not only introduced the relevant attractions but also provided us with basic information about the various tropical plants we saw along the way, greatly enriching my knowledge base for this trip to Xishuangbanna. He was very considerate of the elderly, helping them avoid getting lost. This trip to Xishuangbanna went smoothly, and Abu deserves half the credit. Hopefully, we'll have the chance to meet again someday.
