We've been leading our acclaimed Christian Heritage guided walks for over 25 years, and work with a dedicated team of local guides to bring you a small-group walking experience which is personal, engaging and unforgettable.
Our approach is a little different from a standard tourist tour: we believe that ideas matter, and focus on how a small number of big ideas have shaped the university over eight eventful centuries.
Through stories about famous Cambridge alumni like Isaac Newton, William Wilberforce and John Milton, we explore subjects such as the emergence of the university from Christian monasteries, the Protestant Reformation, the development of modern science, movements for the rule of law and religious freedom, and the campaign to abolish the British slave trade.

Walking tours meet inside the Round Church at 2:15pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They last 90-120 minutes.

Entrance to approximately 1-2 colleges (subject to college opening availability)
Entrance to the Round Church, including an exhibition and 23-minute film (subject to opening times)
Guided walking tour with an expert local guide
Small group experience, with maximum 15 people in total
Visits to key historical sites in Cambridge (please note that the itinerary provides an example of a standard tour but the route may vary slightly)

Adult: 19–99 years old
Child: 1–12 years old
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 14:15, 1 day(s) prior to the date of use, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 14:15 1 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 100% will be charged.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note
While we try our best to visit colleges as part of the tour, it is not always possible to go inside college grounds and we cannot guarantee this. Tours will not be able to enter colleges during University exam term (late April to end of June).
The tour involves walking at a moderate to fast pace. The route is pushchair accessible but not wheelchair accessible.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Dogs are welcome but, due to college restrictions, visitors with dogs will need to remain outside any colleges visited.
A walk may need to be cancelled if fewer than two people sign up.
Walks meet inside the Round Church Visitor Centre - upon arrival please come inside the Round Church and check in at the welcome desk.
