Great walking tour you can do at your own pace. App was easy to download and use with the instructions provided. We started somewhere different than recommended, but that doesn’t matter because it is a loop! Highly recommend buying the tickets to see the university of Coimbra stops - we spent time in the library, chapel and chemistry department museum.

RM Tours Felipe took us round this wonderful and fascinating University, one of the oldest in Europe ,and to the old part of this very old and beautiful Portuguese city, the former capital before Lisbon,He was very knowledgable having studied at the university himself and an excellent guide. It was great to have a one to one tour with Filipe, he took myself and my husband round the entire site including the university library and Royal Palace.we then went down into ancient city to get some history and Visit the Igresa de Santa Cruz to finish. A wonderful and memorable experience.

Where do I begin...I must start by hyping up my guide, Renan! He's the man for sure! He's such a big-hearted, full of life, kind, animated...SUPER SMART guy! He's good people! I am incredibly inquisitive in an informative kind of way and he was able to answer my queries or have thoughtful ideas/opinions on the matter(s). I went on this tour Day 1 of my 4 night stay and it provided a great historical foundation that I was able to recall throughout my stay. My time with Renan left a lasting impression on me. I wish I could return the favor and show him around my city back home!

Beautiful music and excellent musicians. I enjoyed the evening, a special experience to have in Coimbra. The explanations in English were very helpful. The place is quite cosy with great acoustics.


