※Please note that the Shinhotaka area remains cold year-round with heavy snowfall in winter. The average temperature inside the limestone cave is approximately 12°C (54°F) throughout the year, and the cave floor may be slippery. Be sure to bring appropriate footwear and warm clothing.
※The sequence and duration of visits to each attraction may be adjusted depending on weather and traffic conditions on the day. Please follow the tour leader's on-site instructions.

13:30 Suigao High-altitude Cable Car (Recommended visiting time: 120 min)
Take Japan's double-decker ropeway at Shinhotaka and ascend to the 2,156-meter-high mountaintop for a breathtaking aerial view of the Northern Japan Alps, showcasing unparalleled seasonal mountain landscapes.
Depart at 15:30 and return to Nagoya Station to conclude the journey.

Xinsuigao Aerial Tramway
With a total length of 3,200 meters and an elevation difference of 1,039 meters, the cable car is divided into two sections, offering breathtaking views of the snow-covered Hida Mountains, often referred to as the "Northern Alps." The scenery changes with the seasons—spring brings cherry blossoms to the foothills, summer showcases lush green forests, autumn displays vibrant maple leaves, and winter transforms the landscape into a pristine snowy wonderland.
Boarding process
The first high-altitude ropeway: Depart from "Xinsui Hot Spring Station" (elevation 1,117 meters) and arrive at "Guoping Plateau Station" (elevation 1,305 meters) in about 4 min.
After getting off at Guoping Plateau Station, walk about 3 min to "Shirakaba-daira Station" (elevation 1,308 meters).
The Second High-altitude Cableway: Board the second cable car at Shirakaba-daira Station and arrive at the terminal "Nishihotaka-guchi Station" (2,156 meters above sea level) in about 7 minutes. The second cable car features a unique two-level design.
"Mountain Top Observation Deck"
The name "AlpScape" combines "Alps" and "Scape," symbolizing the unique and magnificent scenery of the Northern Alps. It offers a dynamic view of the majestic Northern Alps from a higher perspective.
Hida Great Limestone Cave
The Hida Great Limestone Cave, formed approximately 250 million years ago, stands at an elevation of 900 meters with a length of about 800 meters. Filled with breathtaking geological views, it ranks among Japan's most remarkable limestone caves for tourism. Visitors can admire numerous stalactites and stalagmites, while the cave's interior lighting creates a magical atmosphere.

Operating hours: April–October: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (closes at 5:30 PM) November–March: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (closes at 4:30 PM)
The Hida Great Limestone Cave is divided into Cave 1 to Cave 3.
Each area has its own exit. Particularly after Exit 2, the path enters a steep slope. Travelers with weaker stamina or those lacking confidence in their physical condition are advised to exit via Exit 1 or Exit 2.
"Bridge Collection Museum" The Hida Great Limestone Cave also features an art collection museum, displaying approximately 1,000 artworks and decorative items from around the world.
