My first time and this was amazing! So much fun. The guides are very knowledgeable and experienced so don't feel scared. There were children in rafters so it's for all ages. A must do when you're in CR! Juan was our bus guide and Allan was in our raft. Both gentlemen were so nice and fun! Book this trip! I'm sorry we didn't have enough cash for tip!!! It wasn't the best weather for our visit, but at least it stayed dry until we were headed back down! We enjoyed the funicular train and we saw great views anyway. There was a wonderful hilltop restaurant called David Brown's, and we had a lovely walk at The Habitat (ticket needed, but worth it) with the canopy walkways and the Biosphere Reserve where you can get even better views of Georgetown below. We saw lots of macaques, langurs and birds, plus a colugo during our walk through the rainforest. It was much quieter in the reserve too, possibly as many people didn't want to pay the entry fee.
My biggest tip is to go early (or late for sunset and night-time views) and spend a little extra to get Express Lane tickets for the funicular railway. When we visited, the queuing time for the standard ticket was 3 hours, but we only queued for a few minutes as the trains run regularly.★

It is still very worthwhile to buy this service after arriving in Vietnam. When we went there that day, there were a lot of people in line. They just went through the procedures here. The customs clearance was very fast.
