Reviews: Madrid City Tour – Hop On Hop Off Bus

A very nice and useful experience, especially for first-time visitors to Madrid: the hop-on hop-off bus allows you to get an overview of the city, its neighborhoods, and its main monuments, also helping you get your bearings for the following days. We used the service on May 2nd and 3rd, and unfortunately, on those days, numerous streets were closed for demonstrations, May Day-related events, the marathon, and other city activities. Consequently, some stops were cancelled or rerouted. My only real suggestion is this: it would be a good idea to notify customers before the tour begins about route changes and unavailable stops, to avoid confusion or unnecessary waits. I also recommend checking the audio guide system: the audio would often cut off abruptly and restart directly at a subsequent tourist point, resulting in some of the explanations being lost along the way.★

Because my China Eastern Airlines e-card was about to expire, I chose a flight from Shanghai to Kunming.
I've always loved group tours; they're hassle-free and I can travel with different friends.
This trip was no exception:
Family #1: A cheerful young couple from Shanghai (one chubby, one thin)
Family #2: A family of four from three generations in Hangzhou who had just finished their college entrance exams and were traveling all over the country
Family #3: A loving young couple from Shanghai dressed in blue
And our family #4: My best friend's family
The chubby girl and tour guide were both strong and enthusiastic, and reminded me of a former colleague from western Fujian.
Zhishilamu Zhuoma was a kind and gentle older sister who was prone to altitude sickness.
And the driver, who always arrived at the stops before the other groups, quietly made the journey.
These travel companions, along with the breathtaking scenery and the blazing sun,
remain in my beautiful memories of Yunnan.
I also hope that my friend will be happy after this trip and find a good job soon.★
