The weather was fine and we saw the volcano up close. Our tour guide Helen was fluent in Chinese, English and Japanese. She gave a detailed introduction and was meticulous in her work. She deserves praise. The only problem was that the car ride was quite long. I calculated that we were in the car for about 6 hours.★

The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual.
The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming.
Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching.
Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame.
The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.★

Tour guide Sun Nan was very professional and managed the time very well. He answered all the questions and explained each attraction clearly, giving us enough time to move around freely. The Aso dairy products recommended by Guide Sun were really delicious! I would recommend this day trip to friends who are going to Aso👍★

It was a great experience. We initially thought the conditions wouldn't allow us to see the volcano, but Director Wang, so as to leave no regrets, adjusted our itinerary even though we couldn't reach the crater. He still arranged for us to go as soon as we received the news that it was open. Thumbs up.★

This was the most worthwhile day trip in Fukuoka. Although it rained a bit in Takachiho, so we didn't get to see the clear river, the light rain didn't affect us at all. Walking along the mountain trails was great for absorbing negative ions. We were lucky to see Mount Aso, and the odor wasn't overpowering. Our guide, Ms. Jingling, was very thorough and interactive throughout the trip. The driver was also very steady. It was a truly wonderful day.
