I've been using eSIM for some time now and I can say it's a very convenient solution. Worked pretty well, LTE connection so not exactly 4G. It was quite slow at times but overall it worked and was convenient. It did cause a data/processor strain on my phone though, my phone is a new iPhone 17 but was constantly overheating and the battery was draining from using data here.
