Explanation of the soil conditions, climate and the importance of sun exposure for classifications. All demonstrated by tasting wines from the vineyards seen during the tour in the field and from the vantage point.★

It was a good day. First, our driver Bruno was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, fun, and accommodating. He made the day even more interesting. Plus I’m glad it was him driving and not me - he navigated the streets of Paris, the highways of France, and the tight country roads like an expert. Of the 3 wineries we visited, the first was absolutely fantastic. Jean-Marc Brocard is one of the largest and most prestigious family-owned wine estates in the Chablis region of Burgundy. We got a tour and explanation of the estate's unique geological foundation, the full winery operations, and a panoramic view of this beautiful estate. I honestly lost track of the number of tastings we had, and they were all superb. The second stop had delicious Pinot Noirs however the winery itself was basically nothing and the overall scenery was a big drop off from the Brocard vineyard. The 3rd stop was very unique as it was inside a cave. Yes, inside a cave. It was a good day.Trip.com picks
