It was a nice way to discover the region from the water, just a real pity that the commentary was only in German and English. It would be much better with an audio guide in French and/or Dutch, perhaps for a small extra charge.

After purchasing through Trip.com, you will need to exchange your ticket for a paper one at a tourist information center in Cologne. If you go to the information center located very close to Cologne Central Station, they will exchange it for a paper ticket and ask you to fill in your name and start date yourself.
